1st Newspaper article – Italian Newspapers report on the findings of the Italian Central Institute of Statistics on the deterring numbers of mixed marriages in Italy in 1931, divided by religious creed. Thereby most Catholic grooms and brides (99%) married someone of the same religious denomination. A quarter of the Jewish community married a catholic spouse. Half of undenominational individuals married a Catholic partner, the other half a partner without creed. The overwhelming majority of marriage ceremonies are conducted according to religious creed. A non-insignificant part number of persons without creed is Jewish or of Jewish origin, reflecting the dire prospects of Jewish demographics in Italy. 2nd Newspaper article – The Chairman of the German Zentrumspartei, Mr. Kaas, reassured the German Jewry in the Jewish daily"Israelitisches Familienblat" of the continuing support of the party for maintaining the civil rights of every German citizen of Jewish creed, despite the calls of the National Socialist Party (NSDAP) to strip the German Jewry of their civil rights. The party stands united with the German Jewry to maintain their legal status, due to their notable contribution in culture and economy. The outcome of the elections in Prussia has left the NSDAP the numerically strongest party in parliament. Various options exist now on forming a coalition government.
