Jews in Greece can freely practice their religion and are not confronted with Anti-Semitism. Officially Anti-Semitism doesn't exist in Greece. The Greek Orthodox Church is against Anti-Semitism and was during the Nazi persecution as well as after the war. Education is free and tolerant in religious matters. Text-books in schools normally do not include anti-Jewish texts, and if they do the Ministry of Education will take care of changing them. Jews are accepted in every kind of organization. The representation of Jewish topics in the press is positive and neo-Fascist actions as well as racial discrimination are condemned. Antisemitism is on the rise annually in the post-WWII world. Antisemitic phenomena can be see in countries such as Uruguay, Germany, and Argentina, and the expectation is that it will continue rising in the future. Many former Nazis retain official positions of power, obstructing democratic process and tolerance.
