. . . . . "The file contains several newspaper articles from 1935. The file belongs to the Verfilmungsprojekt\"Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zio\" by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich; Archiv für Zeitgeschichte; Zeitungsberichte von 1935 bis 1936. The newspaper article report about the Protocols of the wise man of Zion as well as about the Bern trial in Switzerland. The newspaper articles presented in this file are mostly published in German in Germany and Switzerland as well as in English. The Protocols have appeared worldwide, have been translated into several languages and distributed throughout the world. The tendency of the Protocols is to portray Jews in all countries as enemies of the human race, who harm other people and eventually assuming world domination. The fantastic details that are told about this alleged world conspiracy in the Protocols have given the impression that this fantasy product could not become believable or dangerous. However, these expectations have been refuted, through the experience that this presentation has already caused infinite harm and the Nazi Party exploits this for anti-Semitic propaganda purposes. The trial of the Protocols in Bern highlights these connections. One article for example points out, that one 'expert, testifying in Bern, says authenticity of the Zion Protocols has been proved.' In contrast to the expert Arthur Baumgarten, who testifies that the Protocols are a forgery, the Nazi expert Ulrich Fleischhauers testimony said different. He was not able to name or pinpoint the authors of the Protocols, although the Times in 1921, as well as other experts, could accurately name the authors, so one newspaper reports. Other articles tell about the 2-year trial, on the experts and witnesses, on evidence and propaganda, on the plaintiffs and the accused."@eng . .
