The file contains a clip from the newspaper “Metropole”, Antwerp (dated to 8th October 1934), about a trial directed by the Swiss Jewish Communities Union and the Bern Jewish Community against the “Ligue des confederes nationaux et consorts”. The complainants request the prohibition of several texts, among them the brochure titled the “Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion”. The trial deals with the very authenticity of the Protocols. The first witness is Prof. Chaim Weizmann, former president of the Jewish World Organization, then count du Chayla, and third, Serge Swatikow, a Russian writer.
