"The file contains correspondences of several people and organizations concerning the Protocols of the wise man of Zion and the preparation of the Bern trial during November and December 1934. Letters from and to the Israelischen Kultusgemeinde Zuerich, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and from and to the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities are attached. Also correspondences of private people, connected to and working for the Bern trial, like Dr. Alfred Wiener, Oscar Meyer, David Farbstein, Saly Mayer, Elias Cerikover and Meyer Ebener are also attached. Information about the intended strategies for the trial and financial matters are exchanged, especially by the expert Arthur Baumgarten and Carl Albert Loosli. The publication, distribution and usage of the Protocols of the wise man of Zion is discussed in detail in the letters. Both experts tried to gather as much information as possible about the Protocols and Freemasonry as both subjects were mostly used together. Discussions about payments and salaries can be seen as well. Also the selection of witnesses and their hearings are prepared and discussed. Furthermore information about the work and life of Sergiei Nilus and the spreading of his book (The Great within the Small and Antichrist, an Imminent Political Possibility. Notes of an Orthodox Believer) are collected and shared. These information were mostly collected by A.S. Tager in the Soviet Union and shared with the Loosli and Lifschitz. In addition Telegrams asking for information about the events in the Bern trial and handwritten letters can be seen."@eng . "2 electronic resources (54 pages)"@eng . . . .
