The file contains correspondences regarding the Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Cohn trial in 1933. Jules Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Dr. Marcus Cohn indicted Max Ammann, Alfred Zander, Theodor Fritsch and Gottfried Beek, which is the pseudonym of Ludwig Müller von Hausen, for writing, publishing and spreading informations about the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion' in Switzerland. Max Ammann is the managing director of the publishing house in Munich, Theodor Fritsch the owner of the Hammerverlag in Leipzig and Dr. Zander the editor of the 'Eiserner Besen'. In the newspaper 'Der Eiserne Besen' of 9.7.1933, publisher is the 'National Front' in Basel, the article appear: And it is real! It states that the 'Protocols' are genuine, contrary to the Jews' struggles to expose them as frauds. As an reaction to those articles Jules Dreyfuss-Brodsky and Dr. Marcus Cohn pressed charges. The correspondences attached are from August till December 1933 and refer to summons of witnesses, access to files, claims and counterclaims and testimonies. The case against Theodor Fritsch was closed before he could be finally convicted because he died.
