The file contains several documents from the years 1934-1936, concerning antisemitic propaganda and correspondences about the Leonhard and Brodsky-Cohn trial, as well as for preparation for the Bern trial. When in the spring of 1933, as a result of the events in Germany, an anti-Semitic wave rolled over in Switzerland, and the so-called 'frontists' (Frontisten) began a Jew-baiting, the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities found itself forced to fight back. For example such as the attempt to ban the 'Iron Broom' (Eiserne Besen). Alfred Zander, the editor, published the weekly newspaper under the model of the Jew-baiting. In addition, anti-Semitic propaganda was fought, especially against the new edition of the 'Zionist Protocols', which led to the Bern trial, in which the authenticity of the 'Protocols' was processed. General information about the Bern trial are presented in this file. There is also a summary of the history and integration of Jews in Switzerland. Furthermore, the document deals with the general problem for Russian Jews to study or pursue a career choice in Russia. Which in turn prompted them to emigrate to Switzerland and study there.
