The publication contains two radio addresses and a"programmatic declaratio" by Walter Hammer. It provides a statistic of the 2032 victims executed in the Brandenburg an der Havel prison between August 22nd to April 20th, 1945. The name of the radio program was"Das taten sie für Deutschlan" (They did it for Germany). In the prison Brandenburg on the Havel every Monday from 8 – 10 15 to 20 people were beheaded. On August 14th, 1944, 42 men were executed in 2-minute intervals. The names of some of the victims are provided. The second program focused on the life of Walter Hammer, who was the guest speaker. He discussed his work to create a memorial site in the prison, an archive and extended research. He was forced to leave it behind and flee to the West. A plea for support from the audience for material, testimonies and additional information is included.
