The publication from 1943 recounts acts of sabotage in Denmark. Life before the occupation is described first, followed by the reaction of the Danish people to the Nazi occupation. Freedom of speech is suppressed which gives rise to underground publications. Government activities are analyzed into “active” and “passive”. Resistance movements and their activities, such as the “De Frie Danske” chain letters by the Valby Group are discussed in the following chapters. Danish Nazis are enlisted as spies by the Germans. After Barbarossa communists joined in and many were interned in concentration camps, their newspapers closed down. Acts of sabotage increased and became more strategic. A list of prison terms by resistance fighters is attached.
