The booklet is a collection of poems with a communist slant, addressed to “Deutsche Soldaten” (German soldiers). The poems are meant to create a sense of doubt and revulsion towards the ideology and deeds of the Nazis. The content was used for propaganda purposes during the Second World War on the Eastern front.
