Was geht in Deutschland vor?
1 electronic resource (40 pages)
The publication, printed in Leningrad by the association of the foreign workers in the USSR, discusses the political situation of Germany from a communist point of view, two months after Hitler’s rise to power. It blames the social democrats for the rise of Hitler and portrays them as enablers of fascism during their years in power. The situation in Germany is misinterpreted, and fascism is given no chance to remain relevant. The country's economy is portrayed as declining, with diminishing gold reserves. The publication views Trotsky as a supporter of fascism, labeling him a 'social fascist'. In the subsequent chapter, an analysis of the politics of the communist party is given.
