The source of the collection are the archives of the Dutch branch of Omnia and the Deutsche Revisions-und Treuhandgesellschaft, and the Wirtschaftsprüfstelle archive; the collection was rearranged into files by the NIOD during the postwar period, and with the help of the Schade Enquête Commissie - SEC; SEC was responsible for the evaluation of the damage caused to the Jews due to the confiscation of their businesses; the files are numbered from 1 to 6,798; information regarding each business can be located according to the collection's card file number 6093022, by means of a blue stamp mark and including a referral number for the file in the collection;
Included in the collection:
Except for a group of files under the care of the Abteilung Feindvermögen, each file relates to a particular business owned by Jews or under Jewish influence in the Netherlands during 1940-1945, and includes several of the following documents:
Registration of the Planungsreferat, attesting to a business being designated for Aryanization;
Work order letter, written by the Wirtschaftsprüfstelle to the trustee of the business, based on order VO 48/1941;
Survey report written by the Deutsche Revisions-und Treuhandgesellschaft, regarding the value of the business, including a balance of payments;
Payment order for the Aryanization expenses, by means of the Bank voor Nederlandsche Arbeid;
Aryanization summary report and transfer of the administration of the business to the trustee;
Business registration questionnaire of Omnia, including a declaration by a Jew regarding the business in his ownership, 1940;
Correspondence with accountants, regarding the business;
Newspaper advertisement regarding the establishment of the business before the war, including legal regulations;
Omnia was active in The Hague during 1941-1943; it was active in Arnhem during 1943-1944, and was moved to Almelo in late 1944;
