Documentation regarding Georgiy Shenker including confirmation that he neutralized and arrested an armed saboteur and documents attesting to his fighting as a Red Army soldier during the war, his being wounded in combat and his have been awarded medals, 1945-1987 - Confirmation from the military commander in Erfurt that the Red Army soldier, Georgiy Shenker, who, at risk to his own life, neutralized and arrested Vasiliy Semochkin, an armed saboteur and traitor to the Motherland, who had murdered the commander on duty and attempted to escape; for these reasons the military commander requests that Georgiy Shenker be granted a short leave; - Confirmation issued by the military hospital that Georgiy Shenker was hospitalized 15 April-14 May 1945, after being wounded in combat, 15 May 1945; - Confirmation given to Georgiy Shenker by the military Commissariat in Frunze, 03 February 1987, that he fought as a Red Army soldier, February 1944-09 May 1945.
