Included in the file: - History of fighters in his battalion; - Letters he sent from Magadan to his family, 1948, where he was exiled after being accused of treason, 1943; - Letter he sent to Waroshilov, asking to handle his case; - Certificates confirming the cancellation of the charges against him, 1957; - Names of people who fought under his command and wrote their recollections of him, including Nina Akashina, Yelena Rudakovskaya, Olga Garbuz, Mina Stotzkaya, Boris Platonov, Mikhail Ignatenko, Dmitriy Lisovin, Nikolay Pliev, Yefim Katzman. The memoirs of Mikhail Ignatenko and Boris Platonov include information regarding groups of Jewish partisans who escaped from the Minsk Ghetto and asked to join the battalion. Implementation by Jews of a dangerous mission as a condition to joining the battalion; whereas the mission was successfully completed, many of the Jews died during the operation.
