General circular issued by the Jewish community of Vienna addressed to the Jews of Ostmark regarding the Verfuegungsbeschraenkung eber das Bewegliche Vermoegen der Juden (law limiting the use of personal belongings) - Kennkarte (Identity Card) Law, 01 October 1938; - Regulation Number 2 regarding the change of the first name and the last name, 05 January 1938; - Announcement from the Reichsststadthalter (City Governor) of Vienna regarding the abolition of recognition of the official status of the Jewish community in Vienna, and the disbanding of the community as of 31 October 1942; reason for disbanding of the community: solution to the Jewish Question in Vienna and the absence of a legal basis for its continued existence; transfer of all community property to the Emigration Fund of Bohemia and Moravia in Prague in order to cover the maintenance costs of the Viennese Jews in Theresienstadt.
