בחטיבה תיעוד נאצי שהחרים צבא ארצות הברית והועבר לארכיון הלאומי האמריקני ב-Alexandria שארצות הברית.
התיעוד כולל מסמכים ממשרדים ממשלתיים גרמניים, מארגונים נאציים (כולל המפלגה הנאצית) ומפקדת ה-SS והמשטרה הגרמנית, וכן מיחידות צבאיות בדרגים שונים, מרמת קבוצת ארמיות עד לרמת הדיביזיה. כמו כן, הועברו לארכיון יד ושם עותקים מתיעוד על אודות רדיפות יהודי גרמניה, חלקם מתוך תיקי משפטי נירנברג.

The Record Group contains Nazi documentation confiscated by the US Army and transferred to the US National Archives in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. The documentation includes documents from German government offices, Nazi organizations (including the Nazi party), SS Headquarters and the German Police, as well as German Army units on various levels, from Army Groups to Divisions. Additionally, copies of documentation regarding the persecution of the Jews of Germany, some of them from Nuremberg Trial files, have been transferred to the Yad Vashem Archives.
