Reports Oliver is engaged to Henny Fuchs, who are to be married on Whitsuntide. Oliver was meant to have a position at Duisberg on the Rhine, but as the French have broken communications he could not get there. Also reports the marriage of Rose Beatrice and Dr Ernst Waldinger.
Reports that conditions are still very bad and everyone is poor apart from himself.
