        rico:history               "<p>Ludwig Loeffler (1906-1989) was a Jewish-German lawyer, Holocaust survivor and state official. Being dismissed from public service in 1933 he worked for the Jewish community in Hamburg. In 1943 he was deported to Theresienstadt, and later to Auschwitz and Gross-Rosen. After the Second World War he was appointed head of the restitution office in Hamburg.
