Prof. Dr. Siegfried Landshut (1897-1968) was a Jewish-German political scientist and sociologist. When the Nazis came to power the World War I veteran left for Egypt and Palestine. After the war he returned and was appointed professor in Hamburg. See Röder, W. and H.
