Dr Jacob Jacobson (1888-1968) was a Jewish-German historian, archivist and Holocaust survivor. The World War One veteran had headed the Gesamtarchiv der deutschen Juden from 1920-39. In 1943 he was deported to Theresienstadt. Upon liberation Jacobson emigrated to London and became a member of the Leo Baeck Institute.
