The Hilfestelle für Rasseverfolgte bei der evangelischen Gesellschaft Stuttgart was established in September 1945 to cater to the needs of so called 'Christian Jews'- Jews who had converted to Christianity. Originally founded in Berlin it re-established itself in Stuttgart on the initiative of the local Jewish community.
