Dr Siegfried Guggenheim (1873-1961) was a jewish-German lawyer. He had served as head of the Jewish community in Offenbach and the local chapter of the Centralverein deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens. After being imprisoned in Buchenwald concentration camp in the wake of the November Pogrom 1938 he emigrated to the US. He was the brother of Karl Guggenheim.
