Dr Bernhard Swarsensky (1908-1968) was a Jewish-German publisher and lawyer as well as member of a number of Jewish sports and recreational organisations. He had emigrated to Argentina in 1939 where he edited La Semana Israelita, a jewish immigrant newspaper. He was also the president of the German-Jewish community organisation.
