Alfred Schwerin (1892-1977) was a Jewish-German merchant. After being imprisoned in Dachau concentration camp in the wake of the November Pogrom he illegally immigrated to Switzerland in 1940 and to the US after the war. He was the brother of Israeli painter Ludwig Schwerin.
