"Illustrating the friendly association between Martin Plessner and The Wiener Library, especially Alfred Wiener, the correspondence deals with various issues. Fields of discussion are: the work of common acquaintances in Israel (mostly German immigrants); the activities of certain remembrance institutions like Yad Vashem and the Ghetto Fighter Kibbutz; and Plessner’s own scholarly work. The latter includes the attendance at conferences in Europe, the contribution of an article for a publication in Germany, and a dismissive review of Eva Reichmann’s study on Antisemitism.

Beside few letters to third persons the correspondence contains two transcripts of articles written by Plessner.
