rico:history "Clive “Teddy” Teddern was born Kurt Tebrich on 14 September 1923 to Martin, a doctor in Hamburg, and Ruth. He left Hamburg for the UK on a Kindertransport on 29 March 1939. During the war, he served in the Pioneer Corps. In 1949 he married Gaggi. He also became a member of The Hyphen social club for young Jewish refugees and edited its newsletter The Hyphen News."@en ;
