rico:history "The Lichtenstein family was from Vienna, Austria, while the Rothschild family lived in Herne, Germany. Numerous members of both families were murdered during the Holocaust. With the exception of an imprisonment of some of them in Theresienstadt concentration camp, no affiliations are known between these two families."@en , "The collection is a re-accession from the post war correspondence of The Wiener Holocaust Library with Eva Manes et al. (reference number: 3000/9/1/946). Apparently, material on the Lichtenstein and Rothschild families had survived the Nazi era in the papers of Eva’s late father Philipp Manes, a former inmate of Terezin concentration camp. The Library reported the existence of this material to the United Restitution Office in London for tracing purposes in 1960."@en ;
