Leopold Danziger and his wife, were assimilated German Jews from Berlin. They survived in hiding in Berlin through the help of Theodor Gorner, who bought Leopold's printing business and continued to pay him throughout the war years. Theodor Gorner went on to be honoured at Yad Vashem as one of the Righteous Gentiles. They sent their two children, Marion and Hans-Wolfgang to Great Britain on a Kindertransport in March 1939. After the war they were reunited with their family in Great Britain.
