The Kartell-Convent (K. C.) was an umbrella organisation of Jewish-German student fraternities. It was established in 1896 and ceased to exist in 1933. Prominent members included among others physicist and chemist Leo Löwenstein and lawyer Ludwig Holländer, who later served as board member for the Central Association of German citizens of Jewish Faith. After the Second World War former members reconstituted KC chapters in several countries of their respective settlement including the UK.
