This collection contains personal papers and correspondence of the Heydecker family, German Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany who settled in Great Britain shortly before the outbreak of World War II.
Apart from the merging of one or two folders and the strict chronological filing of their contents, the original arrangement of the material has largely been retained. There is a certain degree of overlap eg 1654/1 and 1654/2 contain similar material though more personal and job-hunting related in the latter.
