His wife and young child were murdered at Auschwitz, and Leon was the subject of tortuous medical experimentation at the hands of, Horst Schumann. He survived 5 concentration/ death camps. It was after having heard the leader of the English National Front, Colin Jordan, speak at a rally in Trafalgar Square, that Leon first became motivated to recount his experiences lest mankind forgets the atrocities of the Nazis."@en ;
