This is an annual award of $10,000, established by a member of the board of governors of the Hebrew Union College, Burton Joseph, in memory of his late departed brother, Roger E. Joseph, which"seeks to honor those qualities of idealism and humanity which reflect our spiritual values and our religious teachings" The Wiener Library was a recipient in the late 1990s.
