Nothing known of the ultimate fate of the girl in question Nor is it clear whether she managed successfully to get to Great Britain. The only biographical information is provided by a letter (1302/7) from her uncle, Norbert Wellisch, in which he describes her as 13½ years of age, tall and thin, 'prettier than the enclosed picture' (1302/11), intelligent and with a fervent desire to come to Great Britain.
