        rico:history                  "The Regensburger family came from Brunswick, Lower Saxony, where the father, Norbert Regensburger worked as a lawyer until the Nazis prevented him. He was also an elected member of the local government assembly and an active member of the Jewish community. His wife Resi née Oppenheimer (born 1897) was a trained librarian, whose previous posts included the Centralverein Deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens. They had two children: Curt Regensburger (later Charles Regan) (born 1925) and Gerta Regensburger (born 1928). Norbert having died in 1933 the family emigrated to Great Britain."@en ;
