These papers document in part the life of a German Jewish immigrant who lived in the Netherlands during the Nazi era and whose mother and husband, a Dutch Jewish teacher, were deported to concentration camps where they perished.

In addition to the papers described below, the following two recorded interviews with Annie Hoek-Wallach also formed part of the deposit. These have now been housed in the Wiener Library Cassette tape collection.

Tape 1: interview with Annie Hoek-Wallach in Dutch by Irene Williams, dated 16 September 1987, in which she describes her life as a Jew growing up in Germany and later living throughout the Nazi era in the Netherlands. Side A 45 minutes. Side B 25 minutes.
