rico:history "It is not possible to describe the development of the originator of the fonds in detail, because with the exception of a single deed and a ledger, nothing until 1850 has survived. In 1848, the foundations of municipal self-government were laid. The municipality was headed by the municipal council and its board elected the mayor. In 1943, the municipal council was dissolved, and a 5-member commission was appointed, which administered the town until the end of the war. In 1945, it was replaced by the Revolutionary National Committee."@en , "The fonds is only a fragment. Documents from an older period burned down during repeated fires, and only those from the period until 1890s have been preserved in some numbers. Úvaly belonged to the Český Brod district until 1960. After being joined with the district of Praha-východ, the fonds was transferred to the District Archives of Praha-východ. It was handed over in 1964, later in 1994.
