Fond Pomocný výbor pro uprchlíky v Paříži byl předán Státnímu ústřednímu archivu v Praze (dnes Národnímu archivu) v 60. letech 20. století od Ministerstva vnitra. Fond je jen torzem původní registratury. Není známo, jak se dostal v poválečných letech do Československa.
The fonds of the Pomocný výbor pro uprchlíky, Paříž was transferred to the State Central Archives in Prague (now the National Archives) in the 1960s by the Ministry of the Interior. The fonds is only a fragment of the original registry. It is not known how it ended up in Czechoslovakia in the post-war years.

Fond podává jedinečný obraz o uprchlících, kteří přicházeli z Německa, Rakouska, Československa i Polska do Paříže. Vedle běžné korespondence obsahuje karty emigrantů s rodnými daty, s údaji o národnosti, o příbuzných v zahraničí, o zaměstnání a s udáním adres osob, které by o nich mohly podat dobré zdání nebo informace.
Na závěr fondu (kart. 332) je uložena korespondence komitétu s americkým ústředím pomoci Židům v Paříži, se svazem Schutzverband deutscher Schriftsteller a další.
The fonds provides a unique picture of the refugees who came to Paris from Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Poland. In addition to the usual correspondence, it contains cards of emigrants with birth dates, details of nationality, relatives abroad, occupation, and addresses of persons who could give a good impression or information about them.
At the end of the fonds (card 332) is the correspondence of the Committee with the American Jewish Relief Headquarters in Paris, the Schutzverband deutscher Schriftsteller, and others.

Papers are filed alphabetically by the names of refugees, separately Czechoslovak nationals and other persons.
Písemnosti jsou uloženy abecedně podle jmen uprchlíků, a to zvlášť československých státních příslušníků a ostatních osob.
The Comité d'Assistance aux Refugiés was probably founded in Paris in 1936 to support foreign refugees. In addition to this committee, a special committee was established in January 1939 to assist Czechoslovak refugees. Both committees assisted refugees with financial aid, arranged passport matters for them and sought opportunities to emigrate. They cooperated with similar committees in other countries, especially with Jewish organisations in the USA and in Germany itself with the Hilfsverein der deutschen Juden. The Paris Refugee Relief Committee had branches in other French cities. Among the very agile ones was the Social Service for the Relief of Emigrants in Marseilles.
V Paříži vznikl pravděpodobně v roce 1936 Komité d´Assistence aux Refugiés pro podporu cizích uprchlíků. Kromě tohoto výboru se ustavil v lednu 1939 zvláštní komitét pro pomoc československým uprchlíkům. Oba výbory pomáhaly uprchlíkům finančními podporami, vyřizovaly pro ně pasové záležitosti a hledaly možnosti se vystěhovat. Spolupracovaly s podobnými výbory v ostatních státech, zejména s židovskými organizacemi v USA a v samotném Německu se spolkem Hilfsverein der deutschen Juden. Výbor pro pomoc uprchlíkům v Paříži měl své odbočky i v jiných francouzských městech. Mezi velmi agilní patřila Sociální služba pomoci emigrantům v Marseille.
