rico:history "Jewish settlement in Pardubice is documented in the 16th century. Jews were expelled from the town in 1662. A Jewish community was founded there in 1859. It was re-established after the Second World War, but soon became a synagogue congregation (part of the Jewish Religious Community of Prague).
