rico:history "Josef Hráský was born in 1905, studied at Charles University in the 1920s and at the State Archival School in the 1930s. In 1935 he married Marta Picková (1913-2001), who came from a Jewish family based in Nové Město nad Metují. In 1931-1951 he worked (with the exception of three wartime years when he was persecuted because of his Jewish wife) in the Central Archives of the Ministry of the Interior. In 1951-1960 he worked as a laborer because he was persecuted by the Communist authorities. Since the 1960s he worked until his retirement in 1971 in the State Jewish Museum in Prague."@en , "The archival materials were handed over to the AHMP by the wife of J. Hráský in 1982-1998.
