rico:history "The districts were established in 1849 as a replacement for the original manor. After 1850, the district governor's office functioned as a political administration office. Between 1855 and 1868, there was a so-called mixed district office in the district, combining political and judicial administration. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia, the name was changed to the district political administration, and finally to the district office in Český Brod. In 1945, the district national committee was established in its place."@en , "In 1928, the files were transferred to the building of the abolished district council. The files were stored in a humid place and some were even burned in 1945. In 1953, the files and books were handed over to the Český Brod district archive.
