The greater part of the fonds was stored, in 1945-1954, in the registry office of the District National Committee Sokolov. From there it was transferred to the Regional Archives in Loket, and then into the new seat of the Regional Archives in Kadaň. The fonds was arranged and inventoried there. In 1981, it was handed over to the District Archives in Sokolov.
