O`zbekiston Respublikasi Vazirlar Mahkamasi Huzuridagi "O`zarxiv" Agentligi

In order to get access to archives in Uzbekistan foreign nationals should submit an application via the embassies of Uzbekistan in places of their permanent residency or via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This process might take few months, so planning way in advance is required. In addition, the application must include the purpose and the theme of the study as well a list of all archives applicant is interested in working with. Only after receiving a written permission from the authority is it possible to make arrangements with specific archives. The permission is good for one calendar year. There are no archival guides available online yet and only few printed.
