The Kremenchuk Local History Museum was established on September 26, 1975, and it showcases the natural and historical heritage of the local area. The museum is recognized for having the largest paleontological collection in the region, comprising over 60,000 exhibits, along with a scientific library holding 7,500 items. Furthermore, the museum serves as a methodological center for departmental museums at major businesses in the city. Regular exhibitions of artists, craftsmen, children's artworks, and photography are hosted in the museum's halls. Additionally, the museum conducts various scientific and educational events to commemorate city anniversaries and significant occurrences.
Working hours from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Museum's collections encompass the history and ethnography of Kremenchuk and the Poltava region.
