Archiwum Państwowe w Toruniu 
The Town Archive in Toruń existed since Middle Ages with seat in the Old Town Hall. In 1899 the Municipality established the post of town archivist. In 1951 the archive was included into the system of state archival service as the Local Branch of the State Archive in Bydgoszcz. In 1976 the Toruń archive regained separate status, first as the Toruń Voivodship Archive, later as the State Archive in Toruń. Since 1960 the archive is located at 4 Rapackiego square. In 1996 part of the holdings was relocated into the new building (former movie theater “Flisak”) at 6 Idzikowskiego street.
