The ego documents contain letters and cards written in the camp or thrown out of a deportation train, diaries and memoirs written later onwards. The photo collection contains about 8,000 items and documents the daily life in the camp and pictures from daily life or the internees before the war. Most of the drawings are portrets of internees.
