The Regionaal Archief Nijmegen manages many documents related to the Second World War. Among others, these materials include diaries, newspaper articles, brochures, letters, postcards, photographs and other documents. Some of the topics of the documents are everyday life during the war, the resistance, the Holocaust, the bombing of 22 February, and the liberation.

The Regional Archives of Nijmegen manage the archives of the municipalities of Beuningen, Druten, Heumen, Berg en Dal, Lingewaard, Nijmegen, West Maas en Waal, Wijchen and the Rivierenland Water Board.

The Regionaal Archief Nijmegen is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, except on Thursdays when the building is open from 9am to 8pm. 
Visitors who wish to access records after 5pm must request these documents before 5pm. It is also to digitally request the materials through the e-mail of the Regionaal Archief Nijmegen: hetarchief@nijmegen.nl. 
Reproduction of records is done by the staff of the reading room. This rule may be changed in consultation with the study staff. The time at which the reproductions are made, is determined by the reading room employee and also depends on the quantity of reproductions.
