Streekarchief Het Gooi en de Vechtstreek

The Streekarchief Het Gooi en de Vechtstreek manages the archives of the municipalities Blaricum, Laren, Hilversum and Wijdemeren.The municipality Wijdemeren originated in 2002 from the municipalities 's-Gravelad, Nederhorst den Berg and Loosdrecht. 

The Streekarchief Het Gooi en de Vechtstreek not only hold municipal archives but also keep records of clubs, schools, churches, and families. Moreover, the archives hold Second World War materials relating to espionage, illegal press, the resistance, and the liberation among others.
