Gemeentearchief Hengelo
The Hengelo Municipal Archives takes care of all government and private archives kept in the municipal archive repository (see also archives overview). The archive repository contains approximately one hundred individual archives of both municipal bodies and private entities from various social backgrounds.
The municipal archive is part of the Department of Documentary Information (DIV) and is located in the town hall. Next to the archive depot, a study room has been set up for visitors.
