Arhiva Organizaţiilor Social-Politice a Republicii Moldova

The Archive of Social-Political Organisations of the Republic of Moldova (ASPORM) is a subordinate institution of the State Archive Service of Moldova. The archive preserves documents of the Archival Fond of the Republic of Moldova and the documents of the Community Archival Fond which are of republican importance. ASPORM was created in accordance with Order No. 9 of 06/02/1992 of the State Archive Service of Moldova. It inherited the whole documentary heritage of the former archive of the Communist Party of Moldova and later, from 1993 to the present, it has completed its deposits with documents of trade union branches, cultural organisations, sports clubs, technical and scientific organisations. 

Pages of a file can be photographed after paying a state tax of 10 lei per file. A file has multiple pages.  

The archive preserves more than 556,000 archival units reflecting many aspects of social-political, economic and cultural life for the period 1900-2009. 

The access is free and is granted via an ID card which is issued at the first visit to the archive after a request has been filed.
