Association Culturelle les Temoins de Jehovah de France
During World War II, Jehovah’s Witnesses in France faced severe persecution. Many Witnesses from eastern France were sent to concentration camps due to their religious beliefs and refusal to support the war efforts, which conflicted with their pacifist stance. Despite these hardships, they continued to preach and spread their message. By the war’s end, the number of active Jehovah’s Witnesses had doubled, reaching 2,003 individuals. This growth persisted post-war, marking a steady expansion of their presence and influence in France. Creation of the cultural association: 7 May 1991.
